EN61000 is the EMC testing standard for electronic and electrical products. EMC testing is also called electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). It refers to the comprehensive evaluation of the electromagnetic field interference (EMI) and anti-interference ability (EMS) of various electrical and electronic products. This is one of the most important indicators of product quality. Taking the conducted immunity performance test as an example, the most common standards include the following:
IEC61000-4-11: Immunity test for voltage dips, short interruptions and voltage changes
IEC61000-4-13: Low Frequency Immunity Test for Port Harmonics, Interharmonics and Grid Signals
IEC61000-4-14: Voltage Fluctuation Immunity Test
IEC61000-4-28: Power frequency frequency change disturbance degree test
Traditional solution: low efficiency, complicated waveform editing and even need to resort to secondary development
In order to verify the anti-disturbance performance of electronic products to the power supply end, engineers often need to use programmable AC/DC sources to implement IEC61000 test items one by one through the waveform editing function of the equipment. However, even a very professional engineer who is familiar with equipment operation needs to spend a lot of time and stop at irregular waveform editing, for example, the waveform has a certain arc change and can't do anything, resulting in low test efficiency.
ITECH IT7800 series AC/DC source is currently the only test product on the market that provides built-in IEC61000 regulations (4-11/4-13/4-14/4-28). Engineers only need to directly call up the regulatory standards from the menu, select the corresponding regulatory items, and perform simple parameter configuration to easily complete the test without adding additional development costs.
